The
4th Melbourne RAV4 Meet took place on
Saturday the 31st of August 2004. This
meet has been the biggest and most successful
Melbourne RAV4 Meet yet…thanks
to everyone who attended!

The
day started off with Chung and myself
meeting up at Watershed car wash where
Chung got his RAV washed. Jason, Crystal
and Dash met at K-Mart in Burwood.
The 5 of us then met each other at
a café in Acland St, St. Kilda
for some coffees.
We
then cruised down to the meet point
(car park behind BP petrol station
on Marine Parade) where we took some
happy snaps whilst waiting for the
others to arrive. |

| Then
one by one Mike, Phil, Henry and Tek
arrived by 11:30 am. We spent prolly
around an hour just hanging in the car
park talking RAV and taking pics. We
got a lot of jealous and curious looks
from passers by…all admiring our
RAV4s! |

| After
all the pics were taken all 8 RAV4s
cruised in formation down the esplanade
to St. Kilda Pier. This was my personal
highlight of the day…people couldn’t
believe what they were seeing…I
think this was the longest line of RAV4s
driving down any road in Victoria! |

| At
St. Kilda Pier we parked our RAVs and
had lunch (fish and chips), which no
one was able to finish, I don’t
think!
After
lunch we took some more pics and talked
more RAV. A couple of guys had to
leave to go do other things. The rest
of us stayed a bit longer, talking
to another RAV4 owner (call it public
relations). As the time grew close
to 2:30 pm we called it a day, bid
our farewells and drew the 4th Melbourne
RAV4 Meet to a successful close. |
